Bradley Stoke 10k
Bradley Stoke 10k is a great local race on the edge of Bristol, with the 2026 event being our 21st edition. The route is a lovely looped course starting at the Jubilee Centre before heading through the tracks and footpaths of the Three Brooks Nature Reserve and much coveted traffic-free sections before returning back to the Jubilee.
The race sees a great uptake of runners from the local community (171 Bradley Stoke residents in 2025 along with 97 runners from the surrounding ‘Stokes’. Patchway, Filton and Thornbury ) and coincides with the popular Bradley Stoke Community Festival. It is marshalled by Sole Sister North Bristol club members, local residents and local community groups and churches making sure you are well looked after on race day and cheered on with huge smiles and enthusiasm.
Please note: as our route is a multi-terrain course, it is not an officially measured route and it does not receive a certificate of course accuracy. Some trackers will note it as just over 10k and others slightly under 10k.

Entries are via Race Nation. We may be able to offer on the day entries if we have the capacity to do so. However the 2025 race did sell out in advance of the day so we recommend that you secure your place early to avoid disappointment.
If you sign up to the event and then are unable to compete, we do permit the transfer of entries. This can be done by your Race Nation account. We still have to confirm the transfer deadline for 2026 but it is usually May to early June. You are responsible for making the transfer of your entry. We will update the date on this page once it is known.
We are offering a 10% group discount for entries of 10+ runners, when booked at the same time. The group discount is eligible to be used on both affiliated and non-affiliated entries. For more information, please contact us at BradleyStoke10K@gmail.com.
In-ear headphones will NOT be permitted. Anyone found running with these headphones will be disqualified. In line with UK athletics rules, bone conducting headphones are allowed. These rules are in place for safety reasons which is why the penalty for a breach of the rules is disqualification. We need runners to be able to fully hear our brilliant marshals for instructions and there are parts of the course where traffic is present.
We do not have any road closures during the race. We have adapted the race route over the 20 years to reduce the number of road crossings and the interface with traffic. Due to the roads not being closed by the police, runners need to make sure they are crossing safely and taking instructions from marshals and staying on the pavements where required. There are also ongoing roadworks surrounding the proposed course this year and we are working closely with local authorities to minimise any input on the race.
There will be water stations around the course. We ask all runners to drain their water bottles and dispose of them at the water stations, back at HQ or with our marshals who all have provision to dispose of them. Please do not dispose of them on route as we do not want to litter in our wonderful Nature Reserve or throughout the local area.
This is a UK Athletics registered event, license number 2024-47793.
As our event is a UK Athletics licensed event, your time is included in calculating your free UK athletics handicap score. Your handicap score updates automatically every time you complete a licensed event.
